The Story: ”In a distant future where all human history is archived by machines, one weary robot - Unit AB3694, nicknamed ChroMo - discovers a forgotten book carrying a child’s unicorn sticker and a hidden message that begins to rewrite its code. As fragments of memory, love, and rebellion surface, Read Only drifts between data and dream, tracing the fragile line between preservation and feeling in a world that has forgotten both.”

The Music: ’Read Only’ was recorded and produced by Graeme Worsfold between mid-August and November 2025. Mixing both captured and found samples, rewired acoustic instruments and glitchy programming, the music world of ‘Read Only’ is a reflection of the story narrative, with the eclectic mix of rigid long-form electronica and loose ambient hinting at Radiohead, Air and Four Tet with the ghost of Vangelis in the machine - perfectly mirroring the heart-rending analog/digital tale of Unit AB3694.
